The application of a top dressing fills in any minor hollows that may have developed, whilst also building up a supreme soil layer over the years. Top Dressing is the secret to a lovely, lush and healthy lawn.
This dressing is 7 parts Sand/3 parts Loam/2 parts Peat
All of our fine turf dressings are screened down to 3mm and sterilized. The addition of Peat to this dressing ensures there is extra nutrition and water retention. The fine screen size ensures that the material runs freely and spreads easily whilst the sterilisation destroys any harmful bacteria, weed seed or fungus. Sterilization is performed by treating the material with heat at a temperature of over 50°C, using a natural gas to ensure an uncontaminated product. Our process uses lattice screening, which unlike piano wire screening produces a reliable stone-free mix which will not damage equipment. The majority of our dressings use the famous Eagle 30 Sand as a base, which is a superb coarse grade silica sand.

7/3/2 Fine Turf Dressing is supplied in a Lined Bulk Bag. These bags have a strong, black plastic liner which offers the materials inside additional protection from the elements. The use of Lined Bulk Bags is an excellent way to ensure that dried materials stay dry and therefore easy to work with if you are unable to use them right away.

This item will be delivered to the kerbside by a vehicle with a hydraulic tail lift and manual pallet truck.
The positioning of your goods is at the discretion of the driver. The unloading surface must be smooth and level i.e not sloped, gravel or grass. If a delivery cannot be made we will have to make an “Abandoned Delivery Charge” to cover the high costs of returning the goods back to us.
If the delivery address falls within Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Kent, Hertfordshire,Hampshire, London, Surrey or Sussex and you would prefer a crane vehicle to make your delivery, please change the “Type of Delivery” in the drop down box below. Deliveries by crane vehicles take up to 10 working days, there is no extra charge for this service.
